Register any time before the Special Event at the cashier's desk.

Before Event 21 on Sunday

All winning bids must be paid in cash or check before the start of Event 21 on Sunday.

How the auction works

The Shooter Auction

  • Shooters are auctioned off in randomly assigned pairs in a lively, open-outcry auction.
  • Any pairs not purchased are placed into the “pool,” so every shooter is still in play.
  • Winning bids must be paid in cash or check before Event 21 starts on Sunday.

How winners are determined

Based on Sunday's Event 21

Event winners are based on scores from Event 21, the Nevada State Handicap Championships (100 targets), on Sunday, November 1, 2026.

Payouts

Percentage system. NOT high gun.

Each payout is split 80% Buyer / 20% Shooter. If the shooter purchased themselves, they keep 100%.

TiesDivide evenly across the percentage band.

Example

If the top 4 scores are 98, 97, 96, 95: all the 98s split 40%, all the 97s split 30%, all the 96s split 20%, and all the 95s split 10% of the purse. With respect to the 80/20 split.
